I will be one of a team of four students taking part in the 2005 Marathon des Sables from 7-18 April. I intend to raise my race fee and then double it so that I can donate at least £2500 to my chosen charity.

I am fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, as it has a personal connection. My uncle died at the age of 12 from Duchenne  Muscular Dystrophy and there was a high chance that I could have been affected. So I am using the  healthy muscles, that would have deteriorated, to help those who have been less fortunate.

Running the Marathon des Sables is an ideal opportunity to raise money for the

Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.

150 miles across the Moroccan Sahara Desert carrying all my equipment on my back.
